Window Repair

Remember months and months ago when I posted that our front window was in need of repair due to some water damage?  Well, finally we finished it.  Here is the play by play:

We started with this:

Dug out all of the rotted part:

And filled under the window with new wood and filler:

When that dried, we used more wood and filler to finish it off:

Then sanded it down:

And added another piece of wood for aesthetics.  We used a weight to keep the wood piece down while the glue finished drying.  The weight was excited to be dusted off and used something:

We filled in everything else and sanded it all down once more:

Finally, we painted it and voila!  Almost like the rotted wood never happened....
