I decided to take a break from “heavy” books and read a Georgette Heyer.
This murder mystery centers on who killed Wally Carter as he walked over to his next door neighbor’s house. Some of the suspects include: his melodramatic step-daughter, a faux Russian prince, the money-borrowing, cranky neighbor, the brother of girl Wally got “in trouble”…. The list goes on and only Inspector Hemmingway can figure it out…
I enjoyed this book like I do all Georgette Heyer mysteries although I will concede she lost me with the science behind the murder. A little far-fetched…
