I have had Middlemarch on my reading list for awhile so I checked it out of the library. It recounts the lives of various inhabitants of the town of Middlemarch.
I hated this book. It was so overly detailed and bogged down with allusions to other books, history, etc. Ugg. I am just glad it’s done.
