Madeleine Wickham is real name of Shopaholic author Sophie Kinsella. She has books published under both. Every so often I will read a MW/ SK book because it is standard chick lit and easy reading.
Cocktails for Three centers around three friends, Maggie, Roxanne, and Candice, who all have a secret they are keeping from the others: the inability to cope with motherhood, a married lover, and a family scandal. Soon the events are put in motion that will cause all of their secrets to be revealed.
This was complete chick lit, a little fluffy but I didn't expect a thought-provoking novel.
