Christine Blacksworth's father is killed in a car accident while "visiting his cabin" in New York. In his will, a third of his fortune is left to one Lily Desantro. Determined to find out who this woman is, Christine travels to New York, only to discover that her father had a whole nother family. This discovery causes Christine to question how well she ever really knew her father as well as who she is really is.
This story was definitely intriguing. How can a man carry on life with two families? How does a daughter feel when it's revealed that the father she knew was not who she thought? Just when one secret is revealed, another one starts to pop up. I just discovered this is book one in a series. Hooray! So I am looking forward to discovering what happens next for these characters.
