If you can't tell by all the posts, our Christmas vaca has given Mr. and I a chance to do lots of reading and catch up on our book reviews.
The Seduction of the Crimson Rose is the next book in the Pink Carnation series. If you'll recall, the last one was The Deception of the Emerald Ring.
In the Emerald Ring, Mary Alsworthy's sister Letty ends up married to the guy she was supposed to elope with. In the Crimson Rose, Mary is dreading another season as an unmarried lady especially as her former fiancé, now brother-in-law, will be financing it. Consequently, Mary agrees to a proposal by the cool and notorious Lord Vaughn to act as bait for the French spy, the Black Tulip. Little do Mary and Lord Vaughn know that they will end up with the hots for each other...
As you know if you read this blog, I am a big fan of the Pink Carnation series. This had the same humor and drama and love story as the others so it got a gold star in my book.
