Happy New Year to our faithful reader(s)!
We're looking forward to surpassing the double digit mark in followers on the blog in 2011. And we're committed to continuing to reward dedicated readers with our ever insightful book reviews, recipe trials, Mrs.' crafting projects, and posts on the other random crap that goes down in the new year.
After a near record setting cold streak for most of December we were treated to an almost 60 degree day to close out 2010 (although it did pour rain, putting a slight damper on our walk back from lunch - without umbrellas of course). We celebrated by staying up past midnight (I think it was 12:03).
And so the new year begins and January brings with it a steep temperature drop. And speaking of the first month of the year, January is Mrs.' birthday month, so we now begin the month long celebration of the anniversary of my wonderful wife's entry into the world. It's like the 12 days of Christmas, only stretched out longer.
So here's to a wonderful 2011 and hoping that blogs don't go out of style!
