Siblings Celia, Peter, and Margaret inherit an old house with a history of being haunted. Soon after they arrive for a holiday, they and the rest of the house party begins to experience some creepy happenings which seem to confirm the ghost stories. But, Peter and his brother-in-law Charles are not so easily convinced the supernatural is at work and do some investigation on their own eventually revealing.... Well, you will just have to read to find out.
I figured out the gist of the mystery about half way through but this was still an enjoyable read. I love a good Georgette Heyer mystery.
