As a sequel to The Friday Night Knitting Club, I raced through this book so that I could read the next installment Knit the Season during the week of Christmas.
This book picks up five years after TFNKC left off. Dakota is now college age; other members are having babies and getting married. Through it all this random group of women continues their friendships inside and outside their Friday night club meetings at Walker and Daughter with Georgia still a big influence in their lives.
I found this to be good beach reading material and standard chick lit. I like seeing the characters five years later. Sequels are my weakness. I probably enjoyed the first book more but they were in the same vein.
