Lady of Quality is a Regency romance. Annis Wychwood is a 29 year-old spinster (yes, 29) who takes a young, not yet out, heiress, Lucilla, under her wing after a chance encounter. Lucilla's rude and unlikeable guardian, Mr. Oliver Carleton, and Miss Wychwood soon spend an increasing amount of time together... and I bet you will never guess where this is going....
I thought the conversation between Lucilla and her friend Ninian was boderline annoying as did the main character but overall it met my expectations for an easy read.
